Charakteristisch für die experimentelle Herangehensweise Anja Schwörers ist der Verzicht auf den additiven Farbauftrag. Stattdessen bleicht sie industriell gefertigte Textilien, größtenteils Jeansstoffe. Die Erforschung und Manipulation der Stoffoberflächen wird dadurch zur formgebenden Gestalt der Bildträger.
Characteristic to the experimental approach of Anja Schwörer is the absence of the additive application of paint. Instead, she bleaches industrially produced textiles, mostly denim. The shapes on the image carrier are formed by the exploration and manipulation of the material's surface.
